In July 2018, Demi was reportedly found unconscious at the mansion following her near-fatal drug overdose. A spokesperson for the star told MailOnline at the time: ‘Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers, and support.
‘Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.’
TMZ first reported that the singer was transported to an undisclosed medical facility in LA shortly before noon on Tuesday after friends called 911.
A law enforcement source confirmed she was given Narcan when she was found, a medication that’s used to try and reverse an opioid overdose. A source told the publication that she had not overdosed on the drug. The songstress has previously struggled with cocaine and Oxycontin addictions.
