Demi Lovato is engaged! Singer accepts proposal from Jutes as she displays her massive diamond ring
Demi Lovato and her Holy Fvck backup vocalist-turned-soul mate Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes are officially engaged.
The 31-year-old pop star was pictured moments after accepting the Canadian 32-year-old’s proposal in Los Angeles on Saturday as she happily displayed her stunning diamond engagement ring.
Jutes teamed up with New York City-based jewelry company Material Good’s Teresa Panico to create the bespoke pear-shape diamond sparkler – according to People.
Following the ‘personal and intimate proposal,’ the betrothed couple celebrated their love with family at one of their favorite restaurants.
On December 7, Demi (born Demetria) gushed that she is ‘super in love’ with the Make It rocker after ‘working really well together’ on her eighth studio album.

‘It’s amazing to be able to find someone that you just laugh and laugh and with and that you get to make music with,’ Lovato said on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
‘It’s so special, so, I’m very happy.’
The two-time Grammy nominee and Jutes recently got matching tattoos of the track – 4 Ever 4 Me – which she wrote especially about him.
The heavily-tattooed millennial and Demi – who met in January 2022 – also reportedly collaborated on her songs Substance, Happy Ending, and City of Angels.
Jutes marks Lovato’s second engagement after ending her first engagement to four-time Daytime Emmy nominee Max Ehrich in 2020 after six months of dating.
On August 20, the Ladybug musician publicly declared his love for the non-binary, pansexual, and bipolar singer, who returned to she/her pronouns in August 2022.
‘Happy birthday to my best friend. You’re [obviously] the most beautiful and talented person to ever do it. But more importantly you’re weird [as f***] and [you] make me cry laughing,’ Jutes gushed on Instagram.
‘Your heart has changed lives all over the planet – especially some dude from a farm in Canada who wound up in your session over a year ago. I didn’t know the perfect person existed until I met [you]. But now that I do, I’m [going to] spend the rest of my life protecting [you] and doing whatever I can to squeeze another smile [and] belly laugh out [of you]. I couldn’t be more proud to call [you] my baby.’
Demi is next scheduled to put her four-octave soprano pipes to use headlining The Chelsea’s New Year’s Eve concert inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on December 31.
It’s unclear when Hulu audiences will get to see Lovato’s feature directorial debut – the documentary Child Star – co-directed by Nicola Marsh (Stay On Board: The Leo Baker Story, Song Exploder).
