She tweeted: ‘It’s a shame she ‘officially ‘ gave up acting because Nadia deserve an Oscar for this speech.

‘In 20 years of repping clients I never saw a nastier side to anyone than I did of her & I’m not alone.’

She brutally added: ‘Her constant ‘be kind’ etc speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch.’

Melanie didn’t shy away from her words when she also replied to a Twitter user with: ‘The time will come. I’d let sleeping dogs lie if she didn’t bleat on about ‘being kind’ every time she gets the chance – when behind the facade she is anything but.

‘If she had any sense – she’d wise up – before more people reveal what she’s really like, like her sister did…’

Nadia’s rep declined to comment, MailOnline has contacted Loose Women and Coleen’s representative.

Despite the claims, an ITV source told The Sun: ‘The industry knows that Nadia is the most kind and lovely human being.

‘She is a thoroughly good egg and everyone who works with Nadia only has the best things to say about her.’

Ouch: Melanie didn’t shy away from her words when she also replied to a Twitter user with: ‘The time will come. I’d let sleeping dogs lie if she didn’t bleat on about ‘being kind’ every time she gets the chance – when behind the facade she is anything but.’

Not sorry! She also posted a cryptic message in French, which translates as ‘No, I do not regret anything’ alongside a ‘not sorry quote’

During her empowering speech about her new-found body confidence on Loose Women on Thursday, Nadia vowed to never diet or count a calorie again.

The mother-of-two also admitted that she cried after reading 2000 messages she received after she posted a bikini video on Instagram.

Nadia said: ‘I’ve spent a lifetime not getting in the pool, not wearing a swimsuit. Not daring to show my arms. I’m not talking about weight, I’m talking about the stinking thinking that so many of us as women have.’

This isn’t the first time the star has been embroiled in a Twitter feud and in 2019 her younger sister Julia Sawalha, 51, slammed the TV star for discussing their ‘really volatile relationship’ on Loose Women.

Julia tweeted: ‘So tired of #nadiasawalha talking about our ‘stormy’ relationship which she created.

‘I’ve kept my privacy for 6 years to protect my family, whilst she talks lies& rubbish.

‘You have destroyed our family so don’t sit on TV with your fake tears to gain sympathy & attention. [sic].’

On making her return to the show, Nadia appeared to allude to the row as she revealed that being on her period made her family ‘suffer’ while being around her .

Nadia discussed the topic: ‘Is being hormonal an excuse for bad behaviour?’ with her fellow panellists.

And during the candid discussion, the former actress revealed that during her menstrual cycle, she would fall into very bad moods and be snappy and irritated at her friends and family.

Speaking honestly about how her hormones affected her, she said: ‘When I was in it [on her period] I was right and everyone else was wrong.’

Opening up about being speaking with husband Mark after she had her period, she added: ‘Mark would say “why is it when you are on you’re period you are so horrible?”

‘I said “I’m not!” What it is, is the whole rest of the month I can suppress it. In that week, I had no more strength!’

She continued: ‘I really suffered with it and so did everyone else around me!’

Nadia added: ‘It’s interesting now watching my daughters, I can tell exactly when they are pre-menstrual because everything is irrational and it’s so weird seeing it and seeing for them it’s real.’

Co-host Kay then asked: ‘Do you think the truth comes out in hormones?’

As the star hesitated, the audience and her fellow panellists to began to awkwardly giggle.

Carol then suggested that Nadia was implying that ‘the real you is when you are on your period?’

To which Nadia responded: ‘I don’t think I’m suppressing the bad behaviour for the rest of the month. It’s suppressing the irritations you have of being under the stress of living with other people, which is a very stressful thing to do.’
