But Christine McGuinness couldn’t hide her delight as she was reunited with her mum after four months apart on Sunday.
The wife of presenter Paddy McGuinness, 32, shared a sweet video of her three children rushing to embrace their grandmother, after she was forced to isolate due to fears surrounding the coronavirus.

In the heartwarming video Christine’s three children Leo and Penelope, six, and daughter Felicity, three, could be seen running to the front door to greet their grandmother.
The clip was dubbed with the Randy Newman song You’ve Got A Friend In Me, and ended with a snap of Christine’s daughter happily lying on top of her grandmother.
In the caption, Christine explained she was unable to visit her mum for several months as she was forced to isolate during the pandemic.

The model added that this was particularly difficult for her children – who have autism – as her weekend visits are a crucial part of their weekly routine.
She wrote: ‘My mum is here!!! Four long months without nanny, her bond with my babies is truly extra special.
‘This was by far the hardest part of lockdown for my children, a huge part of their routine is nanny visiting at the weekend.
‘My heart just burst ❤️ happy tears! Reunited hopefully it won’t be long until we can kiss and cuddle whoever we want!
‘Poor nanny got rugby tackled to the floor. I don’t think they will let her go home (my mum has completely isolated for four months and is allowed to visit us now).’

Christine has been openly documenting her children struggling to adjust to life in lockdown and recently shared her relief that McDonald’s had finally reopened.
The model posted a simple photo of three Happy Meal boxes to Instagram on Saturday.

Christine added a lengthy caption that read: ‘3 months later. This really is a very “happy meal”.
‘The only meal all three children will eat. Its beige, it’s dry, it looks the same, smells the same and tastes the same.
‘Not everyone will understand our happiness that @mcdonaldsuk is open, but those who’s children have food aversions will know the sigh of relief from this mama!’
Christine also admitted to feeling a ‘mixture of emotions’ as two of her three children returned to school on Wednesday.
She took to Instagram where she shared a snap of her son Leo swimming, telling her fans that it wasn’t ‘an easy’ choice to make and that she just wants her children to be ‘happy and safe’.
