Country superstar Chris Stapleton has earned his second No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart thanks to “Starting Over.”
“Starting Over” rose from 2nd position to the top spot on the Hot Country Songs chart dated April 17. This marks his second No. 1 on the list after his breakthrough hit “Tennessee Whiskey,” which ruled for two weeks in November 2015.
“Starting Over” recorded 25.3 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending April 11, up 23%, according to MRC Data.
The song also earned 10.2 million U.S. streams, up 5% in the week ending April 8, and rose to the top spot from 2nd on the Country Streaming Songs chat. The song also sold 3,000 downloads, up 2%.
“Starting Over,” which was co-written by Stapleton along with Mike Henderson, is the title track from Stapleton’s latest album.
