Check Out The Posthumous DMX Track ‘Hood Blues’ Featuring Griselda Rappers

A new posthumous DMX song, “Hood Blues,” featuring Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine of the Buffalo rap group Griselda, was recently released.

The track appears on DMX’s upcoming posthumous album, Exodus, which dropped Friday, May 28.

“Hood Blues” was co-produced by Avenue Beatz and DMX’s frequent collaborator and long-time friend Swizz Beatz.

“I’m not the average motherfucker/Do damage cause I’m a savage/Sometimes I can’t manage all the shit in my attic/I was promised the world but I got the dirt instead,” the lyrics go.

Exodus, which dropped nearly two months after the rapper’s death, is a followup to DMX’s 2012’s Undisputed.

The album features Jay-Z, Nas, Bono, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Moneybagg Yo, The LOX, Usher, and DMX’s son and the album’s namesake, Exodus Simmons.

DMX died on April 9 after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 50.
