‘You couldn’t make it up!’: Charlotte Crosby is held by police in Dubai after airport officers discover a SEX TOY in her hand luggage
Charlotte Crosby narrowly avoided getting arrested as she touched down in Dubai on Wednesday, after security officers found a sex toy in her hand luggage.
The former Geordie Shore star, 31, had to ‘plead with’ the officials to allow her to enter the United Arab States, her friend Adam Frisby revealed.
Charlotte was stopped because it is illegal to bring sex toys into Dubai, if a traveller does they could have them confiscated or get prosecuted.

Taking to Instagram, Adam said: ‘Charlotte and I got pulled at the airport because she had a sex toy in her hand luggage.
‘She nearly got arrested and we had to plead with airport security.
‘I mean you couldn’t make it up. Absolute belter of a start.’

It comes after Charlotte has taken her whirlwind romance with Jake Ankers to the next level by ‘moving into’ his luxury apartment in the heart of Manchester.
The reality star is understood to be spending the majority of her time with the convicted criminal despite owning her own newly renovated apartment in Sunderland, said to be worth in excess of £1million.
Her new base is located in a smart city centre apartment block popular with high-earning professional footballers and endorsement funded former Love Island contestants, The Sun reports.

A source told the outlet: ‘Charlotte is enjoying spending every second with Jake. She still has her mansion in Sunderland but has been staying in Manchester.
‘Jake’s letting her do what she wants with the place. They are really smitten with each other and enjoying setting up home together.’
As well as floor to ceiling windows offering prime views across the city, the apartment complex also includes a communal swimming pool and private underground parking.
