Nadia Essex has spoken out after she was ‘fired’ from Celebs Go Dating over claims of trolling her co-star from fake Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The love coach confirmed she was no longer part of the TV show, telling followers: "Today I have officially resigned From Celebs Go Dating."
She also shared a quote from actress Jameela Jamil on Friday evening, after she was reportedly dropped from the show for allegedly calling Eden Blackman a "liar", "cheat" and a "dog" who slept with "young girls" through fake social media accounts.
The quote read: "I just cannot stay silent any more. I can’t. I don’t care if I’m going down – I’m going down in flames. I’m fine not to work in this industry. But I’m not fine to not say something."
It came after the 36-year-old TV star was accused of setting up fake Twitter pages to ‘troll’ her dating coach co-star Eden – claims which she is yet to address.
The Twitter accounts, under the handles Valthesal and Jackthemainman1, falsely accused Eden of "sleeping with young girls" and branded him a "liar", "cheat" and a "dog", as well as likening him to disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein .
Eden became convinced Nadia was responsible for the abuse after hiring an analytics company to investigate the tweets.
"They discovered the last two digits of the mobile phone number linked to both accounts matched Nadia’s, while the patterns of speech indicated the accounts were run by the same person and they were female," the Sun reported.
The messages were also always supportive of Nadia and heavily critical of Eden.
One of the tweets sent by the handle @valthesal to a couple of Eden’s fans branded them "vile bully c***ts" and told them: "Social services need to get involved cause your kids being exposed to this level of disgusting trolling can’t be legal".
Another post read: "One door closes and another one opens. Nadia Essex you make the show. Eden contributes nothing. The whole world thinks he was gay. 50 year old sleeping with young girls. Sick keep your head up nads."
Both of the apparently fake accounts have been taken down from Twitter.
Eden appeared to compare Nadia to the disgraced Roxanne Pallett in a tweet from last week, telling his followers: "Love to all the other Roxanne’s out there! If you’re still looking at Twitter."
Roxanne recently faced a wave of hate after falsely claiming Ryan Thomas had punched her in a frenzied attack in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
However, the footage captured from the incident showed him playfully sparring at the ex-Emmerdale star and her laughing it off before changing her tune and accusing him of being an abusive "woman-beater".
Ryan went on to win the last ever series of CBB .
