Carol has long been known for her amazing curves and peachy posterior, but last month the star admitted she finds it ‘sad’ that people focus on ‘how big my bottom is’ instead of her fruitful career.
In a candid interview, the TV and radio presenter also detailed her romance life, confessing she’s not open to finding love anytime soon as she’s ‘not very good’ at dating.
‘One of the sad things is that people think I am only ever talking about the way I look. I just choose to pay no attention to it. Instead it’s, “how big is her bottom?”‘, Carol told Platinum magazine.
The host revealed she maintains her size 10 figure with lengthy strolls, three gym sessions a week, and performs approximately 20,000 squats a year.

Boasting a successful TV career, the media personality, who was the face of Channel 4 competition series Countdown from 1982 until 2008, also stressed the importance of educating children from working class backgrounds.
‘I got to Cambridge from a comprehensive. That just didn’t happen in the 70s. Now I do a lot of work with kids from a similar background to me. I have my online maths school, I sell I-don’t-know-how-many education books a year.’
Carol’s last high-profile relationship was with PR consultant Des Kelly, who she dated for five years until December 2006.
Single girl: In a candid interview, the TV and radio presenter also detailed her romance life, confessing she’s not open to finding love anytime soon as she’s ‘not very good’ at dating
She was married to Royal Navy officer Christopher Mather for a year in the 1980s, and later tied the knot to management consultant Patrick King, with whom she shares Katie, 27, and Cameron, 22, in 1990, before separating a decade later.
Sharing her stance on relationships, the blonde declared: ‘I absolutely do not want to settle down. And if you’re happy and something’s working out why change it? I’d be happy to stay single now because I’ve always been in relationships. For the first time ever I can do what I want, when I want.’
Carol’s interview comes after she revealed she hasn’t weighed herself since 1999.
She told HELLO!: ‘I don’t actually know how much I weigh and I don’t care because I go on my dress size, thank god for lycra!’ she said.
‘I’m probably about a size 8 to 9 at the moment. I’ve always had a small waist, I think I’m about 25 inches around my waist.’
Staying in shape: Carol went onto reveal she maintains her size 10 figure with lengthy strolls, three gym sessions a week, and performs approximately 20,000 squats a year

Last year the star also quashed claims she’d had any plastic surgery after being asked to ‘settle an argument’ by a fan online.
The fan wrote: ‘Settle an argument for me please Carol … girls in my office saying you can’t look that good without surgery, my argument is you work out a lot and they’re just well JEL’.
Carol was quick to insist that her fabulous figure was all down to hard work and exercise, responding: ‘Lol….I go hiking two or three times a week….but I do have botox…and facials….tell the girls hello from me…’
