The film “Wildlife” is Paul Dano’s directorial debut. Pay attention. Based on a 1990 novel by Richard Ford, it was written by Dano and his longtime girlfriend Zoe Kazan. Neither of them are in it. NYC composer David Lang did the score. Carey Mulligan plays Jeanette, whose golf-pro husband is played by Jake Gyllenhaal.
