Rap queen Cardi B and R&B star Bruno Mars‘ collaboration “Please Me” has reached the top spot on Billboard‘s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
“Please Me” jumped to No. 1 on the chart dated April 6 amid a 17 percent spike to 24.4 million in audience, according to Nielsen Music.
With the surge by her collaboration with Mars, Cardi B’s “Money” dropped to No. 4 after ruling the chart for nine straight weeks.
Billboard said the switch reflects the first self-replacement by an artist since Drake‘s “Nice for What” toppled BlocBoy JB‘s “Look Alive” featuring Drake last May.
“Please Me” is Cardi B’s fourth No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart after “Money,” “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” and a featured turn on G-Eazy‘s “No Limit.”
