Broadway’s ‘Come From Away’ Star Chad Kimball Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Chad Kimball, one of the original cast members of Broadway’s hit musical Come From Away, has revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus.

The 43-year-old actor opened up about his diagnosis on his Facebook page. He said he was tested last Tuesday and received the results for his test on Saturday.

“I got tested for the Coronavirus on Tuesday. My test came back Saturday morning and I am positive for COVID-19/Coronavirus. I feel a bit better now, save a mild headache, congestion and residual cough. It kinda comes in waves. My symptoms could be classified as this: flu-like, but not the worst flu I’ve ever had. Still very uncomfortable. A little heaviness on my lungs. And fatigued. I am quarantined in the apartment (away from my wife too!) for another 7 days,” Chad said in the post (which has since been removed).

He added, “I’m in pretty good shape and have no relevant underlying health conditions.”

Chad also made a plea for fans to take social distancing seriously and he encouraged people to donate to his sister’s effort to make masks for workers on the frontlines.

Another big Broadway star revealed that he was diagnosed with COVID-19 as well today.
