Singer Bebe Rexha has once again felt compelled to speak out about her body shape, just weeks after claiming that fashion designers would not dress her due because she was a 'size 8.'
The 28-year-old has had to post a pregnancy denial on social media, after fans got carried away following her appearance in a figure-hugging outfit.
Luckily Bebe saw the funny side and laughed off the claims by posting on Twitter that was not expecting and was just "chubby".
The former girlfriend of G-Eazy was seen heading into the BBC Radio 2 studios on Thursday, wearing a low cut top and high-waisted jeans.
Social media was immediately abuzz with speculation that Bebe was with child but the Last Hurrah singer decided to set the internet trolls straight before they got carried away.
Despite not displaying anything near a bump, Twitter users soon got to work on Bebe, with one commenting: "Omg. Bebe is preggy."
The baby news was soon nipped in the bud though, as Bebe hit back with a hilarious reply that left the trolls with nowhere to go with their body shaming.
She replied with a rolling eye emoji and a short but sweet statement: "No I'm chubby"
Back in January she hit out at cruel body-shamers once again when she claimed fashion designers had refused to dress her for the Grammy Awards because she was a size 8.
"So I finally get nominated at the Grammys, and it’s like the coolest thing ever,” she said in a candid Instagram video.
“So I finally get nominated at the Grammys, and it’s like the coolest thing ever,” Rexha started. “And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers, and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet, right? Like, you go to any big designer. So I had my team hit out a lot of designers, and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big. Literally, like, I’m too big."
"If a size 6/8 is too big, then I don’t know what to tell you," she continued. "Then I don’t want to wear your f*cking dresses because that’s crazy ‘cause you’re saying that all the women in the world that are a size 8 and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses. So to all the people who said I’m thick and I can’t wear your dresses, f*ck you, I don’t want to wear your f*cking dresses.”
Bebe has proved to be a hit with the charts, sending Eminem and Rihanna to number one with The Monster.
She followed that by hitting the top in the United States, where she was number one on the Billboard charts with the single Me, Myself and I with G-Eazy.
Now flying solo, Bebe's latest effort, Last Hurrah, has seen its video viewed over 35 million times so far.
