The YouTube star is called out for tweeting out a ‘corny’ message to the ‘Boxed’ actress several weeks after they sparked breakup rumors as they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
AceShowbiz –Armon Warren‘s joke knows no place and he has earned some backlash for it. The YouTube star has been dragged online for taking to Twitter to post a suggestive message intended for Reginae Carter.
On Monday, April 24, Armon sent a not-so-subtle invite for a hookup to Reginae. “I’m having a cookout in my room later, the meat here I just need you to bring the buns,” he wrote, adding several crying emojis and tagging his girlfriend.
After The Shade Room shared a screenshot of Armon’s tweet on its Instagram page, many slammed him for sharing a little too much of his personal life with her girlfriend, calling his joke “corny” and “cringe.” One person reacted, “He could’ve just texted her this.”
Agreeing, someone wrote, “Lol he couldn’t just text her this?” A third echoed the sentiment as saying, “Lmao cringe .. this a text not a tweet sir.”
Unimpressed, a fourth person said, “We don’t want the details. Thanks.” Another called Armon out, “Ok this was kinda disrespectful. He could’ve texted her that,” while someone else advised him, “Be corny in the SMS baby.”
There are a few who thought that Armon’s joke is normal though. “corny jokes be cute af when you in love. she probably giggled and smiled hard as hell while she packed that bbq bag,” one of the defenders wrote. Another hit back at the critics, “Y’all can tell a lot of y’all single and unhappy , the corny jokes be the best in relationships!!”
Armon’s suggestive tweet to Reginae seemingly debunked speculation that they had broken up. Earlier this month, they sparked the split rumors as they unfollowed each other on Instagram. The daughter of Lil Wayne also posted a cryptic message about losing her trust.
“Don’t ever fall out of love with yourself!” she tweeted on Sunday, April 9. “Folks come in all different shapes colors and sizes. I don’t know who to trust at this point. You can’t show someone all that love and backtrack.”
Armon also came with his own messages via his Twitter account. “God knows all . God sees all,” he posted at the time. In a separate post, he penned, “I wanna apologize to my supporters. I stand firm on being a stand up man. My name has never been brought up with something of that nature and never will be. I owed this to my supporters.”
