Lip gloss is one of the first makeup products I ever got to experiment with as a preteen, and flash-forward a decade and a half, it’s the one product I carry with me wherever I go. It’s easily become one of my all-time-favorite makeup products, and therefore I’m quite particular about my favorites. Although I can appreciate a striking matte lip, the overly drying feeling isn’t something I can tolerate. In fact, usually after 15 minutes of wear, I top off a matte lip with a lip gloss or balm, so my lips don’t feel parched.
