Dancing With The Stars: Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater perform sexy dance routine after being spotted holding hands following dinner date

Mauricio Umansky and his partner Emma Slater performed an emotional Contemporary dance on Tuesday’s episode of Dancing With the Stars on ABC.
The 53-year-old estranged husband of reality star Kyle Richards, 54, during the Most Memorable Year episode opened up to his pro partner Emma, 34, who he was recently spotted holding hands with following a dinner date.
Each of the contestants during the two-hour episode dedicated a dance to their most memorable year and Mauricio told Emma in rehearsal that 1996 was his most memorable year.
‘We had gotten married,’ said Mauricio, 53, referencing Kyle.
Mauricio said at the time they were living with their two children in a two-bedroom condo and he had just gotten fired before Christmas.

‘I was a young man with two daughters and, after I got fired, my wife was clipping coupons to make ends meet,’ Mauricio said. ‘It was just an extraordinary emotional moment in my life. I felt like an absolute failure of a human. I walked into the house, I saw Kyle, I started bawling, she grabbed me and said ”You’ve always wanted to be in real estate, let’s look at it like an opportunity to change”.’
‘Amazing,’ Emma said.
‘The truth is that it ended up being the best experience on the planet,’ Mauricio said.
Emma reached over and hugged Mauricio.
Mauricio and Emma reenacted that emotional time on the dance floor while performing barefoot. Mauricio, with his shirt open showing his bare chest, spun Emma on his shoulders.
The two ended the performance on the floor with Emma lying on top of Mauricio.
‘Mauricio, that was beautiful,’ said judge Carrie Ann Inaba, 55. ‘There is something going on that is beautiful between you and thank you for letting us witness.’
‘You gave it all you got and it was so true, so honest, we could all read the journey. ‘ said judge Bruno Tonioli, 67. ‘To be brief, your best dance yet.’

When asked how he felt about the dance, Mauricio said it meant a lot to him.
‘It’s been an insane week,’ Mauricio said. ‘Super emotional week and I was able to get in touch with those emotions, which was very difficult for me. I feel great.’
Even before the show, Mauricio posted on Instagram that he was dedicating his performance to Kyle and his family calling her his ‘rock.’ The post from Mauricio, who currently remains separated from Kyle, came after photos surfaced of him and Emma holding hands after leaving dinner together in Beverly Hills.
Mauricio and Emma hugged when they learned the judges gave them a score of 24 out of 30.
Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino, 55, was eliminated after scoring 22 points for her Contemporary dance.
Mira during rehearsal told her partner Gleb Savchenko, 40, that her most memorable year was in 2004 when she gave birth to her daughter Mattea.
‘My heart blew up,’ Mira said. ‘Being a mother is my most cherished role.’
Mira and Gleb danced a contemporary dance to Cyndi Lauper’s hit Time After Time. Mattea, a dancer, joined them in to perform a three-person dance.

‘That was so joyful to watch,’ said judge Derek Hough, 38.
Mira and Gleb were eliminated after viewer voting was tabulated and she became the fifth celebrity to leave the ABC show.
Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, 38, told her partner Pasha Pashkov that 2023 was her most memorable year because in March she caught her then boyfriend Tom Sandoval having an affair.
‘My boyfriend of nine years and one of my best girlfriends completely betrayed me in ways that went so far beyond cheating together that it’s hard for me to even explain,’ Ariana said in a confessional. ‘Watching my entire life implode in public, my anxiety and my depression were at an all time high and I wasn’t eating or sleeping.’
The two danced the Viennese waltz to Billie Eilish’s song Happier Than Ever, a song Ariana said she used to ‘scream cry’ in her car.
‘As a woman I love watching how much of a fighter you are,’ Carrie Ann said.
Ariana started crying after her performance saying she wished her grandmother who passed away was here to see her dance. The judges gave them a 24 out of 30.
The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson, 27, danced a Contemporary routine with Artem Chigvintsev to Lose You to Love Me by Selena Gomez that started with her balancing on a jungle gym. Charity cried in rehearsal saying that her most memorable year was 2022 when she went on The Bachelor after leaving a toxic relationship.
‘Being in the trenches and not knowing how to get out, I wasn’t proud of who I was,’ Charity said of her past relationship.
‘That was spectacular,’ Carrie Ann told Charity after her performance.

Charity cried as she waited for her scores and her fiancé Dotun Olubeko cheered her on from the audience. The judges gave them a 28 out of 30.
Alyson Hannigan, 49, told her partner Sasha Farber that her most memorable year was 2003 when she married her husband Alexis Denisof. Alexis stopped by rehearsals to bring her flowers. Alyson then danced the Viennese waltz with Sasha to Ed Sheeran’s song Perfect.
‘I loved the beginning when you were looking at your husband,’ Carrie Ann said. ‘I think all of us in the room were loving that moment.’
The judges gave them a 21 out of 30.
Harry Jowsey, 26, danced a Contemporary routine with Rylee Arnold inspired by 2020 when he got ‘thrown on the world’s stage.’ They performed barefoot to Andy Grammer’s song Keep Your Head Up.
‘The incredible lifter!’ Bruno said.
The judges gave them an 18 out of 30.
Jason Mraz, 46, with Daniella Karagach danced a Quickstep to Willie Nelson’s song On The Road Again for their performance. Jason shared that his most memorable year was 1999 when he was working as a janitor at an elementary school and decided to quit and pursue his dreams of music.

‘What a ride!’ Bruno said after their dance. ‘It was smooth.’
The judges gave them a 27 out of 30.
Lele Pons, 27, told her dance partner Brandon Armstrong that her most memorable year was 2020 when she released a docu-series about mental health. She said she suffers from severe OCD, anxiety and mild Tourette’s syndrome and decided she would show the world how dark her life had been.
Lele said her rapper husband of three years, Guaynaa, had helped her through it. She picked the song I’ll Stand By You from The Pretenders for him. Guaynaa hugged her at the end.
‘That was your best dance,’ Carrie Ann said.
The judge gave them a 24 out of 30.
Marvel star Xochitl Gomez, 17, told Val Chmerkovskiy that 2021 when she became the first Latina superhero was her most memorable year, but she missed having a quinceañera. Xochitl then danced the Viennese waltz while wearing a princess crown.
The judges gave them a 28 out of 30.
Barry Williams, 68, with Peta Murgatroyd were the last dancers of the episode. They danced the Paso doble to the song Born To Be Wild.
Mental awareness: Lele Pons, 27, told her dance partner Brandon Armstrong that her most memorable year was 2020 when she released a docu-series about mental health

Barry said his most memorable year was 1968 when he was just riding motorcycles in Los Angeles right before he joined the hit show The Brady Bunch.
The judges gave them 24 out of 30.
The show also featured a tribute waltz dedicated to former judge Len Goodman who died in April of cancer at the age of 78. The pros shared their memories of Len before performing to Moon River in black and white outfits. Bruno and Carrie Ann broke down crying when the dance ended and hugged each other.

At the end of the episode, Mira received the lowest combined judge and audience scores and was voted off.
She said tearfully before leaving that she was ‘very grateful’ for being part of the competition.
Dancing With The Stars will return next Tuesday on ABC.
Season 31 of DWTS was won by social media personality Charli D’Amelio, 19, and pro partner Mark Ballas.
