Princess Eugenie has shared an adorable new family photo to mark five years since she and husband Jack Brooksbank tied the knot.
The pair, who share two children together, got married five years ago on 12 October 2018 and tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor whichwas attended by celebrities including Pixie Geldof and Robbie Williams.
To celebrate the pair’s special anniversary, 33 year old Eugenie shared a montage video on Instagram which was filled with pictures and videos from the big day before giving fans a glimpse of how her and Jack’s life has changed since then.
At the very end of the video appeared a picture of Eugenie and Jack, 37, alongside their two children August, two, and Ernest, who was born back in May.
In the picture, the family beamed from ear-to-ear as they posed for a snap in front of the sea and bright blue sky.
For the family outing, Eugenie, who cradled baby Ernest in the snap, wore a black T-shirt and shorts which she paired with some sunglasses and a matching hat.
Jack also opted for a casual look and wore a grey top and blue shorts as little August stood in front of him.
In response to the sweet video, royal fans showed their support for the couple and gushed over their young family.
“What a beautiful family you have built! And how beautiful to remember how romantic and classic your wedding was,” wrote one Instagram user. “The family photo at the end,” added another.
The heartwarming post comes days after former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK! howPrincess Eugenie had managed to find “genuine love” in husband Jack.
“Thank goodness things have changed so radically in recent years and there’s now absolutely no pressure on royals to find a partner from within the ranks of European royalty, or indeed to find someone with no previous love life,” she said. “Genuine ‘love’ is the number one rule these days and both girls have embraced it.”
The royal expert added that Princess Eugenie’s parents are likely to have proved as role models, withthe Duke andDuchess of York having managed to remain friends despite their split.
“They’ve learned to be open about their marriages from the example of their mother who has consistently reminded us all that Andrew is her ‘bestest friend’ and that they’re a happily divorced couple, who still live under the same roof and remain fiercely loyal to one another. It’s an easy thing to mock, but it’s actually rather laudable,” she explained.
