BBC's hit gameshow made for compelling viewing on Saturday night (September 23), as a contestant won an astonishing £92,000.
The quizzing programme, hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre returned to screens for a brand new series, leaving fans at home thrilled. Joined by famous faces such as Josie Gibson and Richard Madeley, the show kicked off to a flying start.
With three contestants adding thousands of pounds to the jackpot prize, there was all to play for. But it was a contestant named Colin who was the last man standing who later chose Good Morning Britain star Richard to assist him on the last question in hopes of winning the huge amount.

With the final question being: "According to the Natural History Museum, which of these dinosaurs would have been the heaviest?" the player had a lot riding on his shoulders.
But thankfully, although he seemed unsure initially, Colin knew the answer was "Diplodocus". Locking in his answer, Colin was thrilled when he was told he won the jackpot.
Seeing his incredible victory, fans headed straight to X, formerly known as Twitter to congratulate him. One viewer said: "Omg I’m in tears and so so pleased for Colin on #TheWheel plus @tomallencomedy being on top was another great result!!"
Another said: "Love #TheWheel. Colin, who wanted to get a campervan, won £92,000 and said he could make so many wonderful memories with his family." A third viewer also penned: "Got a bit emotional there. Well done to Colin."
Meanwhile, a fourth impressed fan said the victory couldn't of happened to a nicer person. The spectator wrote: "Was at school with Colin, couldn’t have happened to a nicer fella! Well in mate."
Following his win Colin did a joyous lap around the wheel, Micheal then asked him to give insight on what it means to him. The player said: "It means everything. The cost of living, security, comfort.
He also explained that he can now do home improvements while stating that it would make a "massive difference" with his son and family's life. Seeing his wholesome display, Michael wished him "so many congratulations".
