Hollyoaks star David Tag, and his long-term partner, beauty therapist Abi Harrison have announced the birth of their second child, a son.
The actor, who is most known for playing Sylver McQueen in the soap, was tagged in a series of images on Instagram by Abi, who shared with her followers that the pair were now parents for the second time.
"This time last week we welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world!" the mother of two captioned the carousel, which opened with the sweetest shot of the newborn asleep in a baby carrier and snuggled in a white knitted jumper.
Abi went on to reveal the name of the couple's new son: Kaspar Phoenix Tag, who she also shared was born on the 7th September at 8.44pm, weighing 7.13lbs.
The second image showed David holding little Kaspar in a car seat, again all snuggled up, as he prepared to leave the hospital as a new father once again.
Further images Abi posted to her grid included a close up shot of her new son, swathed in a towel and wearing a white hat while still in hospital.
Another picture documented Abi's birth, which looks to have been a water birth – an option that is popular with other celebs, including Gogglebox's Ellie Warner, who welcomed her first child earlier this year.
David's young son was also pictured getting to know his new surroundings at the family's home, as the tiny baby was captured snuggled up in bed, while offering the camera a big yawn.
Elsewhere, the last image in the carousel showed David's partner breastfeeding their newborn.
To complete the set of photos welcoming Kaspar into the world, David and Abi shared a sweet picture of their older son, Reuben, meeting his younger brother, as the newborn was placed on the toddlers lap.
Big brother duties looked to come naturally to the youngster too, as he softly stroked his little brother and looked at him in awe.
It's no surprise plenty of well-wishers congratulated the couple on their new arrival.
"Huge congratulations to you all. Kaspar is beautiful. Hope you are doing well," one person typed, as a second penned: "Ohhhh congratulations to you and Dave! He’s gorgeous and love his name."
"The cutest! Congrats," a third said, while a fourth wrote: "He’s beautiful. Congratulations to you all."
