Jennifer Garner shows her tender side as she lends a helping hand to barefoot homeless man and even tries to give him the shoes off her feet
Jennifer Garner made a touching gesture to a homeless man in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 51-year-old actress was spotted conversing with a man in a wheelchair before offering him a care package of essential items in the parking lot of a beach in Santa Monica.
Once she noticed he was barefoot, she hopped out of her car to help him put on a pair of warm socks and even tried to give him the shoes off of her own feet.
The 13 Going On 30 star — who shared an affection moment with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, the day before — also generously offered him food and some cash.
In a clip, she was seen chatting with the photographer asking to buy his shoes herself as her own were a size too small.

In an interview with Southern Living published November 2022, she spoke about how she has always wanted to lend a hand to those in need because of how she grew up.
She told the outlet that she grew up in a rural area of West Virginia.
She explained that she donates her time and effort because she saw the devastating effects of poverty all around her.
‘While I did not grow up poor, I was surrounded by it,’ she said. ‘And I always said I was a generation and a holler removed from rural poverty.’
For that reason, she explained that she sought out the philanthropy Save the Children since ‘they are definitely the leaders helping kids in rural America.’
‘I’ve worked with Save the Children for the last 14 years,’ she told the outlet.
‘And I hunted them down when I had been researching what organization had the most efficacy in rural America,’ she continued. ‘Because I grew up in West Virginia where I knew some kids that could really use a helping hand.’
