An exorcist revealed a priest was once attacked by a "possessed" woman with "super strength" whose arms "became like concrete".
Father Carlos Martins is one of the most famous exorcists in the world.
He explained on the Pints with Aquinas podcast how the exorcism of a person "possessed by a demon" can often take as long as a year to complete.

But sometimes the exorcisms can prove so powerful, things can turn dangerous.
“I've been there where where a friend of mine is being picked up by a petite woman,” Fr Martins recalled, “and being held two feet into the air.
“His feet are dangling and I grab her arm and it's like grabbing a cement column."
He added: "This 105lbs (7.5st) woman is hoisting this very large man and it's only when I utter a prayer [that she let him go] and by that point he had already turned red.

“I never saw him being picked up … I heard in the room the people kind of gasping.
“I was reaching for a relic of a saint to apply and then I I hear the gasping and I look at them and then I look at her and then I see this arm and then I look at him and by that time he was already turning red.
“He had been in the air enough time there was no breathing going on.”

Sometimes, the possessed person isn’t even around when the attacks take place.
Fr Martins continued: “I do remember one day, I was giving a talk at a parish in the evening … and as I was driving there the radio in my car started and it went to an ungodly volume that was far louder than what the dial would turn it to.
“I couldn't shut it off and there was nothing I could do to this radio to get it to shut off.”

But the demonic attack went beyond just being a nuisance.
"Then the windshield fogged up – now this this was a warm summer day so there was no reason for that to occur; but it did,” he continued.
The windscreen became so steamy that Fr Martins could see where he was going at all.
“So I rolled down my window and I put my head out – just in time to avoid hitting a guardrail,” he added.
Fr Martins said there are many cases of creatures from hell trying to take on exorcists and that it’s surprisingly easy for demonic possession to occur.
He recalled the most famous case ever, the real-life incident that inspired the novel The Exorcist, when a young boy was possessed by a demon after his babysitter brought a Ouija Board into his home.
