The Oklahoma-born 59-year-old originally purchased the property – located near Gaviota State Park nine miles west of Santa Barbara – for $4M in 2000 although estimates today put it closer to $20M.
Brad’s eccentric touches at the beachy abode include a ceremonial-looking teepee surrounded by a fence, cloaked in the woods at the edge of the property, and accessed by a long series of steps.
‘I love that architecture is this huge art piece you can be inside,’ Pitt told Oprah Winfrey back in 2004.
‘I believe it lifts your soul and affects your mindset.’

The Emmy-winning producer’s home consists of two main structures beside a fire pit and what appeared to be 16 designer chairs and sun loungers littering the land.
Brad’s lighter-colored beach shack features an awning and a rooftop balcony as well as a satellite dish.
Pitt’s darker-colored beach shack has a larger deck, sun room, and what appeared to be a silo in the back.
There was an outdoor dining table near the homes and beside the two-mile driftwood-covered beach accessed by a steep staircase where a white surfboard rested.
