Morning Live presenters flooded with support as two stars announce ‘last show’

Two Morning Live presenters have confirmed to viewers that they are taking a step back from hosting on the morning show.

Viewers have been left devastated as Kimberley Walsh and Helen Skelton have confirmed they will be taking a break over the summer from being in front of the camera.

Taking to Instagram, Kimberley Walsh posted: "Last one for the summer, I’ll be back with my @bbcmorninglive fam in September! For now I’m checking out and waiting for the sun……"

Along with the news, she shared a picture of herself in a green and white floral dress as she sat on the sofa alongside Gethin Jones.

Kimberley will be spending some more time with her sons Bobby, eight, Cole, six, and Nate, two, and her long-term partner Justin Scott.

Meanwhile, Helen also revealed that she is also going to be missing from the show for a while after joining earlier this year.

Sharing pictures of herself on the Morning Live set, Helen wrote: "Thanks for letting me join in @bbcmorninglive holiday mode activated."

She also paid tribute to her family as she added: "Shout out to grand parents making it all poss..work hard to play hard."

It didn't take long for fans to rush to the post to share their reaction to her exit news, as one said: ""Just two words can describe you Helen…im sure others would agree…SIMPLY AMAZING."

Another added: "Loving your morning show Helen. Your personality shines through."

A third chipped in: "More of Helen on tv please! She’s fab!"

A fourth agreed: "I'm struggling to think if there's a nicer presenter on TV than you , and truth is there isn't."

Morning Live airs on BBC1 at 9.15 on weekdays.
