Where Kady McDermott’s Love Island co-stars are now – shock arrest to Man Utd star's cheeky DMs & body transformations | The Sun

IT’S second time lucky for Kady McDermott, who made a sensational return to the Love Island villa on Friday.

The 27-year-old stunner shot to fame in the second series of the hit ITV2 show in 2016, and has never been far from the limelight since.

After dating Love Island co-star Scott Thomas for a year after the show, she moved on to TOWIE star Myles Barnett, and they had an on-off relationship for three years.

But what have the rest of the series two cast been up to since? We reveal where they are now…

Scott Thomas

Scott and Kady had one of the most volatile relationships ever seen on Love Island, but still managed to finish in third place.

They moved together to Manchester but split a year later, shocking fans.

In 2020 he was back on telly with his soap star brothers Adam and Ryan Thomas, and their late dad Dougie Thomas, in Mancs In Mumbai, where they travelled to India to learn about their heritage.

Last year, Scott showed off his impressive body transformation, having lost two-and-a-half stone.

These days, Scott is single, has gone sober and is focused on his businesses.

He is the director of PR company, The Social PR – managing celebs including former Love Island stars Mary Bedford and Tommy Fury – and co-founder of health brand, Food4Thoughts.

Olivia and Alex Bowen

Olivia Buckland married Alex Bowen and became Olivia Bowen

Sparks immediately flew when Olivia Buckland met Alex Bowen in the Love Island villa – and they’re easily one of the most successful couples in the show’s history.

The pair are now married with a one-year-old son, Abel, and are always sharing pictures of their life, as well as their stunning £1million mansion, and the renovations they’ve been doing to it.

Alex and Olivia have also launched a property empire together, while Olivia runs an equestrian Instagram account showing off her horse, Dolly.

Recently Olivia claimed a brand dropped her for not losing enough baby weight.

Zara Holland

Former Miss GB Zara Holland infamously lost her crown while in the Love Island villa, after a romp with Alex in The Hideaway the night he arrived.

She quit the show soon after, and went on to open her own clothes shop, Mimi Boutique.

In 2021, Zara was arrested in Barbados for breaching the country's Covid laws when she tried to flee with her partner Elliot Love after he tested positive.

The couple got off lightly, dodging jail, but Zara, 27, was ordered to pay a £4,500 fine, while he had to stump up £3,000.

They’ve seemingly put the ordeal behind them, and are getting married this year after Elliot popped the question during a romantic trip to Dubai in 2022.

Malin Andersson

Malin Andersson’s most famous Love Island moment was returning to the villa to confront love interest Terry Walsh when he moved on to Emma Jane Woodhams immediately after she’d been dumped from the island.

And she’s had more heartbreak since the show, too.

On New Year's Day 2019, Malin revealed she had sadly given birth to her daughter, Consy, prematurely – and she died four and a half weeks later.

Malin’s ex-boyfriend Tom Kemp – Consy's dad – was jailed for 10 months in September 2020 after attacking her.

Malin went on to become a motivational speaker, release a self-help book and her own podcast, and welcomed another daughter, Xaya, in January 2022.

She split from Xaya’s father Jared two months after, and she’s recently been showing off her amazing weight loss.

Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey

Winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey left as a couple and are still together now – married with two children – Freddie, five, and two-year-old Delilah.

They have a lovely home together, which they often give fans a sneak peek into – although Cara recently confessed they struggle to find time to have sex.

Cara and Nathan often advertise brands on social media, and Cara also owns a children's clothing company called Embroidery by FJ.

Meanwhile Nathan went back to his work as a builder.

Tom Powell

Tom Powell got together with the late Sophie Gradon on Love Island, but they weren’t to last.

These days Tom is a successful lifestyle coach and bodybuilder, as well as an OnlyFans model.

In April 2022, Tom live-streamed himself getting a breast reduction for a whole hour and 16 minutes.

He’s currently dating fellow fitness model Dani Parker.

Tina Stinnes

Before her Love Island stint, Tina Stinnes had appeared in Made In Chelsea, briefly dating Spencer Matthews.

And she returned to the show after Love Island, dating co-star Alik Alfus.

In 2018, former Manchester United ace Marouane Fellaini slid into Tina’s DMs on Instagram – only to be publicly warned off by her boyfriend at the time, Matthew Mawhinney, the son of Baroness Scotland.

Tina is also co-founder of sustainable swimwear brand, Litre.

Rykard Jenkins

Rykard Jenkins caused trouble on Love Island after bedding Olivia while trying to woo Rachel Fenton, who was in the bed next to them.

He never revealed his moment of passion to Rachel during his time on the show, despite them starting a relationship – and him leaving the show to be with her.

Despite everything Rykard and Rachel stayed together for around 18 months after the show.

In 2017, Rykard became a rep for ITV2 show Ibiza Weekender. But he’s now given up his reality TV career and become an aesthetics practitioner, offering fillers and Botox services.

Sophie Gradon

Prior to taking part in Love Island 2016, Sophie won the title of Miss Great Britain In 2009.

In the show she coupled up with Tom, then Katie Salmon – making them the only same-sex couple in the show’s history.

However Sophie eventually left the show to be with Tom.
