JON Kay has given BBC Breakfast fans a closer look at the new studio with a series of behind-the-scenes pictures on social media.
Corporation bosses had announced a makeover for the show with a new "multi-purpose" studio which will also be shared with BBC Sport.
However, Jon has now given fans a glimpse of the newly refurbished studios, with behind-the-scenes snaps on Instagram.
The news anchor shared a photo with his BBC colleagues, including co-star Sally Nugent and weather presenter Carol Kirkwood.
He revealed to fans how hard everyone worked to get this "fantastic space" on the air and how it will provide the show more possibilities to "tell and explain stories" to the show's 5 million daily viewers.
Jon captioned the post: "On air! Our fab technical and production teams have worked so hard to get this new studio ready for BBC Breakfast It’s a fantastic space and will give us loads more options to tell and explain stories for our 5 million viewers every morning."

It is the first time in over a decade that the popular morning programme has been given a makeover.
The studio, however, was not well received by BBC Breakfast viewers, who rushed to social media to criticise it for appearing "cheap" and "claustrophobic."
