A puppy has made a miraculous recovery after being stabbed in the head by a cemetery manager in Oklahoma.
The sixth month old puppy was attacked with a butter knife by Cody Davis, a local government employee, after it approached his fence, police said.
The puppy’s owner Misty Harrison claims Davis stabbed her dog Stormy on Sunday night after it was following her friend back from the store.
Stormy went up to a fence near Pecan and Coffee Avenue to greet two other dogs.
The other dogs’ owner, Cody, appeared, jumped the fence and stabbed Stormy in the heads with the knife before jumping back over the fence and re-entering his home.

Police noted that the animal was ‘sweet in nature’ despite having a butter knife lodged 1.5 inches in her head
‘Who does that?’ Misty told Oklahoma’s News 4.
‘It was crazy. I’ve never seen anything like it. Don’t want to see anything like it ever again,’ she said.
‘He jumped the fence, stabbed her in the head with a butter knife, jumped his fence and ran back inside his house,’ Harrison recalled.
Chief Derrick Jolley with the Pauls Valley Police Department said ‘This dog and the two in the backyard are going back and forth with each other with a fence between them.’
Adding: ‘This puppy is on the outside of a fence. No one can articulate to me a particular threat to the dogs or the owner.’
The police were called by Harrison’s grandmother Billie Davis, who witnessed the attack.
‘I ran across the street and got the dog, she was in the process of being traumatized’ she said.
Police promptly rushed Stormy to the vet, noting that the animal was ‘sweet in nature’ despite having a butter knife lodged 1.5 inches in her head.

Chief Jolley said that Davis was too drunk to give a statement that would hold up in court, but gave one two days later.
Harrison told the local news outlet that when she went to pick up her beloved pup she was presented with a $410 bill which she was unable to pay.
Stormy was therefore retained at the vet until the bill was settled.
However, a generous Go Fund Me page to help with the bill raised over $1,000 and Stormy has since been returned home.
