- A Just Eat delivery cyclist got into a tug-of-war with a van driver in Edinburgh
- They were filmed fighting in the street after arguing who was at fault in collision
This is the moment a Just Eat delivery rider picked an argument with a van driver – who responding by dragging his bike down the road.
Tawny Rutherford was on her way to work yesterday in the Leith area of Edinburgh when she came up behind the two men, who were in a heated argument with each other.
The 22-year-old filmed as the cyclist brazenly snatched the driver’s keys from him and tossed them away – resulting in a bizarre tug of war over the man’s bike.
The video shows the cyclist aggressively throwing his bike – as well as his Just Eat delivery bag – to the ground in the middle of the road.
He then approaches the man in the van in mid-argument, shouting: ‘No you’re the one who nearly killed me – go get your f******keys.’

The infuriated cyclist then reaches into the man’s van, seemingly snatching his car keys from him and hurling them down the road.
The driver responds by leaving his van and calmly removing his sunglasses before lifting up the man’s white bike and dragging it down the road towards his keys.
The two men then bizarrely walk down the road to retrieve both their bike and keys as other road users look on in bewilderment, stuck in the traffic jam that the pair’s confrontation has created.
The two men can then be seen in the distance hilariously having a tug of war over the bike with both men holding one wheel each.
A man in the traffic jam can be heard saying ‘F***ing cyclists are the worst.’
The video was uploaded to social media by Tawny last night (THUR) with the caption: ‘Go get your f***ing keys.’
The video has received over 1,300 likes and more than 100 comments from users left in stitches by the peculiar argument.

One user asked: ‘What was the point of the bike grab?’
Speaking today, Tawny said: ‘I would say the van had the right of way to turn left onto Dalmeny Street.
‘However when the cyclist had to come to a sudden stop he became angry and started shouting before taking a quick left onto Dalmeny Street to follow the black van.
‘When the van had come to a stop in traffic the cyclist started banging on his window and screaming at the driver.
‘He then started putting his hands in the van and attacking the driver. This went on for around ten minutes but I never managed to get it all.
‘I was actually quite shocked at the way the cyclist had behaved, especially as he was the one in the wrong.
‘I’m a community care assistant based in Edinburgh and was on my way to work at the time of the incident – it actually held me up and many of my clients had later visits yesterday due to this.’
