Gwyneth Paltrow adds SECOND sex toy to her Goop Father’s Day gift guide – after the first one sparked disgust among buyers
Gwyneth Paltrow has defiantly added a second sex toy to her annual Goop Father’s Day gift guide – designed to imitate the feeling of a vagina and mouth.
The Sliding Doors actress, 50, sparked controversy when she first released the list of recommended presents at the end of May, as it included a recommendation for kids to buy their dads a £176 ‘hands-free vibrator for prostate stimulation’.
The Goop entrepreneur re-released the list to fans on Monday ahead of Father’s Day on June 18, and it now includes the £160 Arcwave Ion sex device.
Fans have mocked the actress by saying it is basically an ‘overpriced Fleshlight’ and an ‘American Pie-style’ gift as it is set up to make users feel like they are penetrating a vagina or mouth.
One critic said it looked more like a ‘coffee maker’ or ‘blender’ than a sex toy.

Others said they would ‘hate’ to give it to their dad and said Gwyneth was clearly ‘off her rocker’ telling people to buy it for their father.
A graphic description for the gift on Gwyneth’s Goop site – valued at £200million – calls the black pump ‘an air-pulsing sex toy for penis owners’.
It adds: ‘This penile masturbation device is sleek, powerful, and designed to give the feeling of a female orgasm. (Gradual buildup, higher payoff.)
‘Ion uses Pleasure Air technology – the same design that makes the fan-favourite Womanizer vibrator so good – to suck and massage.
‘Using a bit of water-based lube, slide your penis into the Ion, let the device rumble awake, and explore stroking motions and eight levels of suction, from gradual build-ups to intense peaks.
‘Ion is made with ‘smart silence’ technology, so the device automatically turns on when in contact with skin and switches off when you set it aside.’
The Ion pack comes with a USB lead that gives it two hours of charge and the product description boasts it is has a handy ‘twist-to-open design’ for ‘easy cleaning’.
It also says the 6in long, 2in wide device is in a ‘one size’ that ‘fits most’, and is advertised with a picture of a young man with rippling abs slumped on a bed asleep holding the device near his crotch.

X-rated: Gwyneth’s first version of her annual Father’s Day gift guide featured a hands-free prostate stimulator from the brand Hugo
Gwyneth, who has daughter Apple, 19, and son Moses, 17, with her Coldplay frontman ex-husband Chris Martin, 46, was left devastated when her filmmaker dad Bruce died from complications linked to oral cancer and pneumonia on October 3, 2022 aged 58 when holidaying in Rome, Italy, to celebrate his actress daughter’s 30th birthday.
Oscar-winning Gwyneth’s first version of her annual Father’s Day gift guide featured a hands-free prostate stimulator from the brand Hugo.
It is still on her second version of the list, and is advertised with the description: ‘The base and tip of the device each contain a powerful vibrating motor: the insertable head massages the prostate while the external head delivers satisfying vibrations to the perineum.
‘And it’s hands-free. The remote control is motion-sensitive. You adjust the intensity by simply moving your wrist.
‘This vibrator is sized for all body types and features eight intensity settings to gradually lead you (or your partner) to orgasm.’
Lorraine Kelly ranted when she heard about the gift recommendation: ‘Gwyneth Paltrow never fails does she?
‘Her Goop thing has released a Father’s Day gift guide, and for goodness’ sake, their latest offering -I’m not kidding you – includes a £10,000 Rolex, £50,000 Arctic Circle trip, but the gift that has got everyone talking, and not in a good way, is giving your dad a sex toy costing £160.
‘And apparently they suggest that you buy this sex toy… I shall leave it to your imagination as to where that sex toy goes… you can guess, for your dad!
Unimpressed: Lorraine Kelly ranted when she heard about the gift recommendation, telling Gwyneth to ‘stop it!’
‘Stop it! Gwyneth stop! You’ve gone too far, it has to stop right now.’
Without realising the entrepreneur’s dad was dead 11 years ago the ITV host added: ‘Your dad would never speak to you again!’
Gwyneth’s 2023 Mother’s Day gift guide contained four vibrators.
The actress recently told about the lovemaking skills of her exes Brad Pitt, 59 – who she dated from 1994 to 1997 – and Ben Affleck, 50, with whom she had a three-year relationship.
She said during an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast when asked which of the actors impressed her most sexually: ‘That’s really hard. Because Brad was like the major chemistry love of my life at the time.
‘And then Ben was, like, technically excellent.’
Gwyneth once waxed lyrical about ‘vaginal eggs’ sold on Goop, which has also flogged a £12,000, 24-karat gold plate dildo.
The site has sold more than 50 vibrators in one of its regular online features on sex and bedroom toys.
Gwyneth, who has been married to TV writer Brad Falchuk, 52, since 2018, once admitted to having gas blasted up her backside in the name of wellness to boost her immune system as part of a ‘rectal ozone therapy’, saying: ‘It’s pretty weird. But it’s been very helpful.’
Among the other items on Gwyneth’s Father Day’s gift guide are a £14 jar of cocktail cherries and a trip to the Arctic Circle costing £51,000 per person.
For dads who like a drink, Goop suggests a £635 wine carrier made by Metier and there’s a £1,726 outdoor oven, as well as a $1,566 Gucci skateboard, £715 beach blanket, £2,490 long john dry suit and a Louis Vuitton hammock at nearly £40,000.
The Goop list says: ‘Father’s Day gift ideas often fall into familiar categories: beer, ball games, BBQs.
‘And we’re not saying you should take those options off the table – you might even double down with a fun new spin on one.
‘But we also want to keep broadening the field. Who says Dad doesn’t need his own skin-care routine? That he won’t love the feeling of infrared heat, too? Or rock an Italian-knit sweater as chic as anything in your closet?’
Also on Gwyneth’s gift guide is a device called the Light Phone II, designed to allow users to ‘disconnect without going off the grid’.
It says: ‘This phone’s main functions: calling, texting, navigation, music, podcasts, and an alarm clock. That means no social media, no pressing emails, and no Internet browser.’
