People are convinced that aliens exist after a UFO was spotted in a 1,000-year-old painting of Jesus Christ.
The strange claim stems from an image of Jesus – the Lord, not the Arsenal striker – currently found hanging on the walls of the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Georgia.
The ancient painting shows the Son of God nailed on the cross as per usual, but it also appears to have some kind of UFO in the background.

The object, which looks like a giant button with legs, is dominant in the image and appears to have been drawn intentionally, rather than by accident.
One of the men in the painting even appears to be pointing up at the flying saucer.
The origins and artists of the ancient drawing are unknown, although it is thought to date from around 1,000 years ago.
And art historians have said the UFO in the 11th century artwork was probably meant to represent guardian angels.
However, this has caused anger in the art world, as experts have said this explanation is at odds with how angels were normally drawn at the time – with wings.
Conspiracy theory website Ancient Aliens reported: “The unknown artist seems to be telling us that these flying saucers were present during the death of Jesus.
“The faces likely mean these crafts were piloted by people, or beings, that seem to play a central role in the event.
“They must have been part of the crucifixion story, at least as it was taught by the Georgian Orthodox church.
“Were early artists and the Orthodox Church aware of certain facts about ancient aliens that have been veiled from us today?”
The church where the picture is found actually dates back to the fifth century, although the current building appeared at some point between 1010 and 1029.
