Follow Me will “track the stories of eight aspiring influencers, including a model, personal trainer, gamer, dancer, among others, as they compete in business-themed challenges that will strengthen their brand voices,” according to Variety.
Each episode will be an hour long and feature other top influencers, like Charlotte McKinney, Alan Bersten, Taya Miller, Emily Mei and more, mentoring the competitors. At the end of every episode, the creator with the least amount of followers will be eliminated.
“This is truly one of our most mainstream co-productions to date. Think ‘Biggest Loser’ meets ‘Big Brother’ meets ‘The Circle,’” Max Einhorn, senior VP of acquisitions and co-productions for FilmRise, said in a statement. “The series’ format combines two of the most popular mediums – social media and reality competition. It’s a high-stakes rivalry that comes with a ton of drama and will have viewers on the edge of their seats to see who stays and who is eliminated.”
The winner will receive a $50k prize from Wrigley, the show’s official sponsor.
Follow Me will premiere NEXT Wednesday, May 3rd across the FilmRise streaming network, which includes the FilmRise OTT and YouTube channels. It will then expand out to ad-supported and FAST partner platforms.
