A self-proclaimed prophet dubbed the “living Nostradamus”, says Elon Musk’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) prediction from nearly a decade ago is coming true.
Athos Salomé described AI as demonic, and claims the technology is “invoking the work of the devil”.
Space X and Twitter CEO Elon Must said at the MIT Aeronautics and Astronautics Department's 2014 Centennial Symposium that AI systems had the potential to be more dangerous than nuclear weapons.

Musk said: “With artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon.
"We are invoking the devil with artificial intelligence. In all these stories where there is a guy with a pentagram and holy water, he is sure he can control the devil. It doesn't work."
The Brazilian psychic issued a stark warning of the “demons of science and technology” – creatures which he says occupy space, theories and concepts that we can't understand.
Salomé cites the work of Mexican-American physicist Jimena Canales, author of the book A Shadow History of Demons in Science.
Canales explored how scientists through the ages have conducted thought experiments using imaginary entities—demons—to test the laws of nature and push the frontiers of what is possible.
Salomé claims that these “demons” are usually similar to us, but have exaggerated characteristics, and while they can be useful they can also be malicious.

Promising his stark warning against developing science and technology further.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Salomé explained: “The idea that everything we thought was real was not reality was terrifying.
“In science, it's very difficult to verify that something doesn't exist, because in the future that something might appear.
“Few people know of the existence of ‘demons’ for each art, including science and technology, this is the biggest problem of ‘artificial intelligence’, they are facilitating communication with the ‘unknown’.”

The prophet claims that in this instance the word “demon” was translated from Daemon – natural spirits who manifest with human aspects.
He adds that they were not necessarily classified as good or bad, but for the ancient Greeks, it was believed the influence of these mythological beings could have positive or negative effects.
“Daemon was thought of as a higher human spirit as if it were the deepest part of us”, he added.
“For the ancient Greeks, Daemons were not beings separate from human life but were an integral part of nature. For some Greek philosophers, for example, Happiness would be nothing more than being under the influence of a good Daemon”.
