Tamron Hall wears a lot of hats — journalist and Emmy-award-winning host of her own daytime talk show, for starters — but arguably her most important job title is mom to her son, almost-four-year-old Moses. And no matter how different her everyday life may look from those of us who aren’t Emmy winners and talk show hosts, it’s a whole lot alike in one way: parenthood. The triumphs, the fails, the messes and meltdowns, we all walk a similar path with our kids.
So during SheKnows’ recent sit-down with Hall, who is the cover star of our latest digital issue, ‘The Early Years’, we asked her a series of rapid-fire parenting questions — but only the important stuff. How many times in one night has her peaceful slumber been interrupted by a toddler? Which sucked more: potty training or sleep training? (Spoiler alert … her answer just might make you jealous!) Who’s crankier when sleep-deprived?
We learned all of that, plus what she’s terrified of, her most inventive mom moment, what parenting scenario makes her immediately call for her husband, and a whole lot of other fun things … and at the end, we even got a bonus show tune-singing snippet. What could be better than that? Check out our video to hear about Tamron Hall’s real mom moments. Celebrity moms: They’re just like us! (Only with, you know, Emmys.)
