A hilarious old skit created by Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy that shows him wiggling his tush to music in a supermarket has resurfaced.
The 28-second long video, which shows Zelenskyy and a cadre of naked dancers strutting their stuff to high energy music, came back to light on February 28 when it was posted to Twitter in an attempt to ridicule the 45-year-old war president.
The footage, which social media users have described as a “gay comedy sketch”, ends with him climbing on a small vehicle and shaking his butt.

While critics of the comedian-turned-president tried deriding him for the video, social media users from across the globe overwhelmingly reacted positively to it.
One user cheekily asked: “Can I see an uncensored version of the video?”
“If you’ve got it, strut it. Don’t know what this has to do with him being a war time president though”, another said.
Zelenskyy has been involved in comedy for all of his adult life, first joining a national comedy competition in Ukraine at the age of 17, before spending much of his career as a writer and comedian for several TV shows and movies.
He provided the Ukrainian voice of Paddington Bear in both Paddington and Paddington 2.
In 2015, he created, produced and starred in a TV show called “Servant of the People”, in which he plays a history teacher who gets propelled to presidency after a video of his character ranting about government corruption goes viral.
Three years after the show was created, he registered a new political party with the same name as his TV show, eventually winning the presidency a year after that.

He won by a huge margin in the second round of presidential voting in 2019, taking home 73% of the vote, compared to his rival, the incumbent leader at the time Petro Poroshenko, who got just 25% of votes.
