Retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady has to add one more interception to his stats now that his daughter Vivian caught his phone and hijacked his Instagram. The 10-year-old took over her dad’s IG stories on Monday to share cute new footage of one of her recently adopted cats.
“Poke’ is my name – Drinking out of Vivi’s water is my game,” Vivi wrote on a photo of her Siamese mix kitten drinking out of a glass on the counter.
Followers then saw a close up of the little white furball taking — quite literally — a cat nap.
“Nap time!!! (Btw this is Vivi 🙂 on Dads phone),” she said.
Grabbing a parent’s phone and snooping around is a classic kid move. Of course, it’s a little different when Vivi does it, but we are sure her dad’s 13.6 million followers are happy to reap the benefits. We know we are!
Brady and Vivi — who Brady shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, along with their son Benjamin Rein, 13 — adopted two Siamese kittens this month after volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for six months.
Regan Blessinger, marketing and content manager from the Humane Society, told PEOPLE that Vivian was “drawn to” the kittens.
“So it wasn’t surprising that Tom reached out to adopt,” Blessinger said. “They are the perfect family for these two adorable kittens!”
Brady shared a video on his Instagram story after the adoption that showed the cats playing with the caption “Vivi wins again.”
“This is what my mornings are like now,” he lovingly joked.
He assured the Humane Society and followers that the fur babies are “in good loving hands,” and it sounds like the Humane Society didn’t doubt that given the family’s track record.
“From socializing our kittens to walking dogs, he is obviously a great dad and a true animal lover,” Blessinger said. “When they came to volunteer, it was evident that Vivian and the whole Brady family enjoyed their time with the under-aged kittens still needing to be bottle-fed.”
The adoption came just a couple weeks after Brady’s second retirement announcement.
“I love my family,” he said, which also includes his son Jack, 15 — who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan — and five dogs. “I love my teammates, I love my friends, I love my coaches, I love football, I love you all. I am truly grateful on this day. Thank you 🙏🏻❤️”
These celeb families wouldn’t be complete without their furry friends.
