Love Island star Martin Akinola, who was brutally dumped from the villa when Tanya Manhenga chose to recouple with Shaq Muhammed, has opened up about his time in the villa, revealing unaired conversations he had with Casey O'Gorman.
Having returned to the UK, Martin appeared on Sunday night's Aftersun where he discussed his time in the villa with host Maya Jama and panellists Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson.
As the group discussed Friday's dramatic recoupling, which saw new bombshell Rosie Seabrook steal Casey from Claudia, Martin revealed unaired chats he had had with both Claudia and Casey.
Sharing his secret intel, Martin said: "I spoke to Claudia like two days before I left the villa.
"She asked me what I think of her and Casey and I told her I see more friendship vibes with with them. I don't see the sexual chemistry.
"I told her that and she asked me what do I think if a bombshell comes in would Casey switch and I said I think so."
Adding that Claudia then told Casey about the conversation, Martin detailed the conversation he then had with Casey about the possibility of his head turning.
"I pulled Casey and was like 'yeah I said it' and he was like 'you know what? You're right I agree with you."
Following Friday's recoupling, Casey is now in a couple with bombshell Rosie, something that left Claudia in floods of tears, as she told her fellow islanders: "I wanted to do a speech tonight."
Lana Jenkins reassured her, saying: "This doesn't mean it's the end though, I've been through this. I had a recoupling that didn't go my way and just because you're not staying in a bed with him, doesn't mean it's over."
Claudia, who is the daughter of motorcycle racer Carl Fogarty, added: "I feel sorry for [other bombshell] Keanan as well, he didn't mean any harm. I never thought this would happen to me, I never thought I'd get this attached.
"It's hard, I'd rather he'd done it in Casa now, it's got too deep – at least for me anyway. I just feel like I'm with somebody I want to be with and that's hard."
And later, after seeing Casey in bed with Rosie, it was too much for Claudia as she stormed out the bedroom and decided to sleep in the garden.
Her move was deemed rather dramatic by fans, with one tweeting: "Claudia storming out the room and crying her self to sleep on the outside bed.. sweetie it’s really not that serious."
