RUMOURED lovers Joey Essex and Vanessa Bauer snogged in front of co-stars backstage at the Dancing on Ice, The Sun can reveal.
The pair have grown close since being partnered together for the ITV skate contest in November but until now have remained coy about their relationship.
But after a sizzling performance as Danny and Sandy from Grease on Sunday night they were seen kissing for the first time in public, The Sun can reveal.
It is said they locked lips in the backstage marquee area where the Dancing on Ice cast and crew gathered after the show.
It came just hours after host Holly Willoughby and judge Christopher Dean commented on their chemistry live on the show.
A backstage source told The Sun: “A number of people saw Joey and Vanessa kissing.

“We were all surprised because until now they’ve danced around what’s happening, you know lots of ‘he’s great’, ‘she’s great’, lunches and attending parties, to the point where I think everyone wondered if there was anything other than a flirty friendship there.
“But there was nothing friendly about these kisses, if you get what I mean.
“Good on them!”
Last month Joey, 32, told The Sun he felt “blessed” to be paired with Vanessa, 26, but she was “super strict” about keeping training professional.

The cheeky reality hunk added: “You’re close and you are touching each other’s legs…and everywhere else.
“You are very intimate and it can happen.
“Honestly I don’t know how people do this show when they’re married, it would be a disaster.
“People were saying to me, like if I was married… god.
“Lucky I ain’t got a ring on my finger, eh!”
Since being paired together in November, Joey and Vanessa have become almost inseparable.
As well as spending time with Joey at his home in Essex, the reality television veteran invited Vanessa as his date to James Argent’s birthday bash in November.
It will come as a blow to Joey’s ex, Lorena Medina, who last week told The Sun that she had been “speaking a bit romantically” to the reality star.
On Sunday’s show Joey, in his Danny Zuko costume, told Holly and co-host Philip Schofield: "Danny and Sandy are getting on pretty well, if you know what I mean." and then winked.

His admission was met by cheers from the crowd, and Holly described Vanessa as Joey's "Pro partner slash life partner" as they left the rink.
Dancing on Ice continues on Sunday, February 5 at 6.25pm on ITV1.
