EXCLUSIVE Mission Beyoncé! Music bosses in high level talks to bring global superstar to The BRIT Awards 2023 at London’s O2
Music bosses are making an audacious bid to bring Beyoncé to The BRIT Awards next month, MailOnline can reveal.
High level discussions have been taking place amongst Sony music executives and the superstar’s team to attend the February 11th event at London’s O2 where she’s been nominated for two gongs including International Artist of the Year.
Beyoncé’s attendance would be a boost for the award show, where she is nominated for her single Break My Soul in the International Song of the Year category.
A music source revealed: ‘There have been some serious discussions at the top end of the record label for Beyoncé to have a live presence at the BRITs — having the world’s biggest superstar to attend the ceremony would be a huge coup.

‘She has been to The BRITs before and sees the event as a key moment in the music calendar and a way to connect with her European fanbase.
‘It is common for some of the bigger acts performing at the ceremony to be finalised days before so a deal is still under negotiation and could go down to the wire.
‘But there’s been a big push to get her to the ceremony and for her to perform would be the absolute dream scenario.’
A source added: ‘The schedule of the ceremony is locked down so if Beyoncé was to perform there would need to be a shake-up but it’s more likely she will be there as a guest.’
MailOnline has contacted The BRITs and Beyoncé’s spokesperson for comment.
Execs are hoping the US singer, who took to the stage for the first time in four years in Dubai last weekend for an exclusive concert, will be the star attraction at the ceremony
The BRITs, presented for the second time this year by comedian Mo Gilligan, has already confirmed Harry Styles, Lizzo, and Stormzy will be performing on the night.
Bosses are preparing to reveal the final star performer of the celebratory evening later this week.
Lizzo is nominated alongside Beyoncé in the International Artist of the Year category and International Song of the Year with her hit About Damn Time.
Last Saturday, Beyoncé returned to the stage for the first time in four years at the launch of ultra-luxury hotel Atlantis The Royal, where she performed the likes of XO, I Care, Halo and Naughty Girl.
She delighted the crowd by inviting daughter Blue Ivy, 11, to join her for a rendition of Grammy Award winning song Brown Skin Girl and the night concluded with a flurry of fireworks as she ended with Drunk In Love.

Anticipation is mounting among the Beehive that Beyoncé is soon to announce her tour with Renaissance for summer 2023, after it was reported that she has ‘booked out stadiums’ ready for her new shows.
It’s predicted to be a monumental week for the star, who is likely to break the all-time record for most Grammys won ever at the US ceremony on Sunday.
Beyoncé is currently tied with Quincy Jones for the second-most Grammys won, with 28 apiece.
They both fall behind conductor Georg Soli, who earned 31 accolades during his lifetime.
With Beyoncé nominated for nine awards this year alone, she could surpass Georg’s record, which will be a groundbreaking moment for the artist.
Lizzo is also nominated alongside Beyoncé in the International Artist of the Year category and International Song of the Year with her hit About Damn Time
