Elon Musk’s teen rival is now tracking Mark Zuckerberg’s swanky private jet

A US teen notorious for publicly tracking the movements of billionaires' private jet says he is now tracking Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's private jet with 'complete' accuracy.

19-year-old Jack Sweeney, a computer science student from Florida, said yesterday that his 'ZuccJet' Twitter is now "completely accurate" after discovering Mark Zuckerberg's personal private jet, which he shared a photo of on Twitter.

The automated Twitter account shares the whereabouts, journey length, and even the amount of carbon emissions of each flight taken by Zuckerberg.

That means Jack is now tracking some of the most powerful people in the world, from Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk to Putin and, now, the Facebook founder / Meta CEO.

Jack first made a name for himself earlier this year following a public spat with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who offered Jack £3,700 ($5000) to take down his 'ElonJet' tracker page.

Musk reportedly said: “Can you take this down? It is a security risk. I don’t love the idea of being shot by a nutcase.”

However, Jack turned down the offer and demanded a higher sum of $50k (£37,000), saying: “Any chance to up that to $50k? It would be great support in college and would possibly allow me to get a car maybe even a Model 3.”

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star earlier this year, Jack explained that the reason he didn't take down his tracker page for Elon Musk was because the world's richest man didn't offer him enough money.

"I asked for more money and after a while he said it didn't feel right to pay to take it down. Once everything hit the news, he blocked me.

"I'm not going to take down something I really like for nothing, you know?"

Since Elon Musk announced his plans to buy Twitter outright, Jack now fears his accounts will no longer be allowed on the platform in future, saying: "If [Musk] considers ElonJet a security risk rather than a critic then I'm probably gone."

For now, Sweeney is moving his trackers to a special Discord server, and says a Telegram channel is "coming soon."
