Christine McGuinness flaunts her figure as she poses up a storm by the pool while Olivia Attwood looks on fine form during her dive as The Games competition continues

Christine McGuinness looked sensational as she posed up a storm by the pool as the competition heated up on ITV show The Games on Tuesday.

The former model, 33, stunned in her pink and blue swimsuit while pulling off a number of sexy poses amid some downtime from the intense diving events.

Meanwhile, Olivia Attwood, 31, was on fine form as she took to the diving board to compete alongside Kevin Clifton, 39, with the TV star looking sensational in her orange and blue one-piece.

While Christine was full of nerves ahead of her dive, the beauty was nothing but confidence as she flaunted her curves for the camera.

The mother-of-three, who sported glamorous make-up, turned this way and that as she made the most of her time by the pool. 

Joining her with her poolside posing was newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, 46, who wowed in a blue swimsuit while posing with her hands on her hips.

While Rebecca Barker, 47, dazzled in her purple number as she giggled by the pool amid the diving events.

Chelcee Grimes, 30, meanwhile was fighting fit as she jokingly showed off her sparring skills while larking about amid the festivities.

Tuesday night’s pool competitions certainly had the ladies in great spirits as they all flashed dazzling smiles after racing each other in the pool.

Even host Holly Willoughby got swept away with the excitement as she threw caution to the wind and jumped in the swimming pool fully clothed at the end of the show.

Elsewhere, viewers were left delighted as  Wes Nelson swept the board in the men’s and mixed events and Ryan Thomas accidentally lost his trunks. 

The former Love Island star, 24, won in the men’s 50m freestyle swimming race and topped the leaderboard in the synchronised diving with his partner ITV news reader Lucrezia.

In atmospheric live scenes at the London Aquatics Centre, Wes beat off stiff competition in the 50m freestyle, as he battled it out against fellow celebrities Colson Smith, Ryan Thomas Max George, Josh Herdman and Kevin Clifton.

In the race Wes came first, followed by Max in second and Josh in a respectable third.

Speaking after his win, an out of breath Wes said: ‘I did a bit of a doggy paddle before I got to the wall for the turn but in the end it was fine. 

‘I was just trying to not drown! I tried to swim my own race and get the goal and I’m so thrilled with that performance!’

Corrie’s Colson came in last but wowed fans and the audience with his performance after only learning to swim five weeks ago for the competition.

Speaking after the race he said: ‘I’m buzzing, I am the happiest person to come last at an event! But it is a best for me I’m so happy! I beat my best time ever I did it in under 55 seconds!’

In an earlier VT viewers saw how Colson got on in training and how he was nervous to do pool events after being called ‘the fat kid at school’ when he was in his trunks.

He said: ‘Only learnt to swim five weeks ago. I was the fat kid at school so I didn’t want to get in the pool.

‘Then I got addicted to running and I lost weight. So I want to show that I have no limits now and try and do it in less then a minute.’ 

Next up for the competitors was the synchronised diving where the stars jumped off a 5m board in their mixed couple pairings.

While Ryan and his partner Chelcee won in the second round of the event, it was Wes and Lucrezia who came out on top overall. 

However viewers were distracted at the end of Ryan’s dive after his speedos partially fell off due to the force of the water and he ended up flashing his bum cheeks.

Elsewhere in the episode Ryan came first in the canoe slalom event while Olivia beat the girls to come first in the women’s 50m breaststroke race.

The Games will be on nightly this week until Friday 13 April, with the 12 contestants battling it out in a series of challenges.
