Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington is currently taking time away from filming to focus on his stage acting career. Fans, however, want to know when they can next expect to see him as a superhero after his role in Marvel’s Eternals.
Like many of the actors in Game of Thrones, Kit Harington has become a household name.
No stranger to the theatre, he is set to play the title role in Henry V at the Donmar Warehouse which opens later this month.
The 35-year-old took some time out of his busy rehearsal schedule to appear on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Friday.
He revealed that Marvel film buffs might have to wait sometime to see him donning the full Black Night mantle as he divulged that he is still “waiting for a call on it”.

Marvel fans are not the only people waiting, as Zoe Ball herself wanted to know more and asked: “I’ll have to ask you, as the fans have been asking, what’s the future of Dane Whiteman AKA Black Night?
“Any more happening? Any things in the diary planned?”
Hoping for a little nugget of information, the actor said he knew very little or was just being very tight-lipped on the information.
“No, not that I know of”, he replied.
“It sounds like a very political answer but, I mean, it’s exciting for me because the film, as anyone who has seen it, kind of sets the idea up that I might go further.
“So, I’m hoping, but I think whenever you’re answering questions about these things, people point at you and say ‘liar’ as if you know more than other people.”
In the blockbuster movie Eternals, Dane Whitman (Kit Harington) seems to just be lovestruck and completely unaware boyfriend of Sersi (Gemma Chan).
As the film goes on, he learns about the Eternals, Celestials and Deviants and in a post-credit scene, he discovers more about his lineage and potential.

Elaborating, he added: “I have no idea, I genuinely don’t. I am waiting for a call on it at some point, hopefully.”
Zoe joked that she was “watching Kit’s face” and that she believed him but “then again he is an actor” so she wasn’t 100 per cent sure.
Earlier on in the interview, he spoke about his current theatre project and how you don’t have to be in London to see it.
Although the production is staged in London it will be streamed by National Theatre Live.
“I did War Horse, and there was an NTI (National Theatre Live) version of that,” he recounted.
Passionate about making sure theatre is accessible for all, he described how theatre could sadly be very London-centric.
Adding: “Theatre, unfortunately, even though there’s lots of theatre around the country, good theatre, but a lot of it can tend to be London-centric.
“What NTI live does, means that it can get out of the city to around the country and around the world. I’m a big supporter of it.”
Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available to stream on NOW.
