DILLIAN WHYTE is set to return to the boxing ring on the undercard to the Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr fight in Saudi Arabia.
Eddie Hearn revealed the British star, 31, will replace the Jono Carroll-Scott Quigg fight, after the latter withdrew with an elbow injury.
Whyte's opponent is not yet known, but Hearn did reveal it would not be a "top five-ten guy".
Speaking at KSI's win over Logan Paul, Hearn was grilled over what happened to Carroll's failed clash with Quigg.
And the Matchroom Boxing promoter replied: "Scott Quigg had a recurrence of his elbow injury. So we're going to move that fight to January or February."
When asked who would replace them on the undercard, Hearn claimed: "Possibly Dillian Whyte."
Hearn is then asked, "Dillian Whyte in Saudi?", to which he gives a knowing nod and smile, much to the shock of the nearby crowd.
Quizzed over who Whyte's opponent could be, Hearn replied: "Not sure yet. It's not going to be a top five-ten guy.
"But it will be a good fight. We're working it out."
Whyte – who recently gave up four hours of his time to run a boxing clinic in Brixton – was stripped of his interim world title and mandatory status this summer over a failed drugs test.
But he recently revealed he was "back in training" and "can't wait" for his next fight as his UKAD case raged on.
This week it was revealed Tyson Fury had replaced Whyte as mandatory challenger for Deontay Wilder's WBC belt.

But he could now be on the undercard for AJ's eagerly-anticipated rematch with Ruiz on December 7 in Saudi Arabia, following the Brit star's shock defeat in New York in June.
And Joshua's sparring partner Derek Chisora revealed a “slimmed down” AJ is now ready to reclaim his world heavyweight belts.
While Joshua has shed some muscle in a bit regain some agility, Ruiz has been on a strict diet which has seen him lose weight himself – a move that Hearn has called "dangerous".
