NEIL WARNOCK is set to make Sol Bamba his second signing just two days after landing job.
The ex-Leeds skipper is a free agent after leaving Elland Road for "personal reasons" earlier in the season.
Warnock took over from Paul Trollope with the Bluebirds sat 23rd in the table following a terrible run.
And he has immediately set to work on the squad – adding pace with Hoilett and depth at centre-back in Bamba.

The 44-cap Ivory Coast international, 31, played 51 times for Leeds and took the captain's armband last season.
But despite being a key part of Garry Monk's side he left by mutual consent having made just four appearances.
Formr Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamkh is another name being linked with a move to the Cardiff City Stadium.
He most recently trained with Derby but did not join the Rams to trigger interest from Birmingham and Blackburn.
And it appears Warnock has pipped his Championship rivals to his signature after promising fans he was looking to add new players before the Severnside derby against Bristol City.
