Danniella Westbrook furious and forced to spend Christmas alone after catching Covid and 'anti-vax' daughter has it too

DANNIELLA Westbrook has revealed she was forced to spend Christmas alone after catching Covid.

The 48-year-old took to Instagram to share a heavily filtered snap of herself, telling her followers: "I hate Covid."

She added: "So I had to isolate away from my kids and family this Christmas."

And Danniella's 'anti-vax' daughter Jodie Jenkins has also caught the virus – for the second time.

Former EastEnders actress Danniella shared a snap of Jodie and wrote: "My poor princess spends yet another NYE with Covid so unfair."

Hours before Jodie told her followers about her positive test result, she posted an apparent anti-vax message.

It read: "Sorry Mrs Jones. I know you’re worried about that lump, but I’ve really got to give a booster to this healthy 25-year-old who has already had two jabs and one very mild bout of Covid."

Covid booster jabs protect against Omicron and offer the best chance to get through the pandemic, health officials have repeatedly said.

The Sun's Jabs Army campaign is helping get the vital extra vaccines in Brits' arms to ward off the need for any new restrictions.

Danniella previously confessed that, after catching Covid in August, her mental health suffered.

She said: "It was severe, severe depression, I was literally getting out of bed just to eat and sometimes not even to wash.

“It was much needed that I got up and went out today and a huge thank you to my good mate Kelli Hollis and her family for coming to get me and making me leave the house, get up and get my s**t together.”

The star continued:  “Depression is in all of us and none of us can escape it, it’s just how it manifests sometimes.

“For me, it’s particularly bad since I had Covid, but I feel like I have turned the corner so thank you guys. Thanks to my kids for their support, they have been on the end of the phone 24/7.”
