A PASSENGER was left disgusted after a woman used their armrest to prop up their flakey, fungus-feet.
The unnamed flyer snapped the picture of the feet on their flight from Toronto sparking outrage by other travellers on social media.
Posting the picture to Reddit, the anonymous user shared it with the caption: "Is there a podiatrist on the plane?", describing it as the "romance of air travel".
The picture shows the stranger's bare feet on the armrest of the original poster (OP) with the image showing a thick dusting of skin on the seat and stranger's feet.
OP said the the picture was snapped in the last row of business and first row of economy.
Thousands of comments have been made on the social post in the subreddit's 'WTF' and 'Mildly Infuriating'.
One person wrote: "Did you call the flight attendant?? Please tell me you did", while another replied "They should’ve called the f*****g police".
Another commenter who is a nurse said: "One of the worst things about being a nurse is doing a foot skin assessment on an elderly person and taking off their socks…it looks like it’s snowing sometimes. YAY foot skin flakes!"

A few commenters prayed for it to be sand as one person wrote: "Looks like sand. Was there a beach nearby?", with OP replying: "Nope. Foot fungus."
Lots of commenters suggested passive aggressive solutions, such as "accidentally" spilling a hot drink on them, or sneezing directly on the strangers feet.
Another user took the offence very seriously: "you can legally call the flight attendants and have them put their shoes on or be removed from that seat.
"It's against the bloody rules."
One Reddit user suggested: "That's when you audibly say aloud 'Jesus Fucking Christ what The Fuck!'
"Get other peoples attention on it, flight attendant. 'Aw what the shit!? This mans toes turning to cheeto powder, aw gawd i think i just breathed some in'."
'AGAINST THE RULES'
Passengers with bare feet on planes are not a rare occurrence.
In 2019, a passenger was snapped with her bare feet on a fellow traveller's headrest, while a flyer used another traveller's armrest to proper up their bare feet on a flight in 2020.
Last month, a passenger was left horrified after someone's bare feet where pushed under their seat, while another flyer was praised for his reaction to the person behind him putting their feet on his arm rest.
Experts have also warned travellers to never be barefoot on a plane.
Podiatrist Ebonie Vincent said that being barefoot leaves travellers exposed to bad bacteria.
She told the Washington Post: "You could pick up fungus, not to mention the millions of germs and bacteria that you could transfer to carpets, inside hotel rooms or homes and cars, which serves as a danger to other people.
Going barefoot isn't only unhygienic, but could risk your safety if there is a plane crash.
Tony Kuna, who used to work as as a member of the cabin crew, explained: "During an emergency, all sorts of debris and unpleasant ground surfaces will block your way towards the exit, as well as outside the aircraft."
