Ed Sheeran‘s new single “Bad Habits” has topped both of Billboard‘s global charts.
Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” topped the Billboard Global 200 chart for the first time, while the track returned to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. tally for a third week.
“Bad Habits” earned 67.5 million streams, down 2%, and 40,700 sold worldwide, down 7%, in the July 16-22 tracking week. “Bad Habits,” released on June 25 through Asylum Records, is the lead single off Sheeran’s upcoming fifth studio album.
According to Billboard, the two global charts, which it started last September, rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by MRC Data.
The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the U.S.
