Rachel Johnson, the journalist and sister of Prime Minister Boris Johnson made fun of the viewers of GB News in an arrogant jeer on Good Morning Britain. She mocked the channel’s viewers as “wingnuts” for supposedly wanting to bring an end to the coronavirus lockdown restrictions as co-hosts Adil Ray and Susanna Reid also joined in on the mockery. But she insisted she was now in favour of easing lockdown and carrying on with normal life.

Ms Johnson was asked if she was ever in favour of the lockdowns.

Johnson replied: “Look I don’t want to come across as a mad GB News wingnut.”

She then paused and laughed with Adil Ray and Susanna Reid also chuckling at her comments.

Susanna Reid asked: “Why did you suddenly go (change), was there a voice in your ear?”

Ms Johnson replied: “I haven’t got anything in my ear, it was my own good angel saying ‘don’t go there’!

“Look I think that the country has been very tolerant and obedient.

“It is now obvious that we have the great vaccine shield.

“It’s time we learn to live with the virus as this government has said.”
