He is know for his incredible singing voice as a former member of One Direction.
But Liam Payne proved he has talent in other departments as he showed off his watercolour portrait of Prince Philip on his Instagram Story on Thursday.
The singer, 27, paid tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh with a drawing of a young Prince Philip in his navy uniform ahead of his funeral on Saturday.

In the clip, he held the photograph from the 1950s that he used as inspiration to draw from next to his painting of the Duke as he thanked him for his years of service.
The Strip That Down hitmaker captioned the video: ‘Rest in peace HRH Prince Philip. Small tribute to you, thank you for your service.’
Liam previously took to his Instagram to detail the progress on the portrait as it took shape over a number of hours.

He first sketched an outline of Prince Philip’s head as he wrote: ‘Beginning something really special I hope.’
In the next shot, the former boy band member had drawn the complete outline of the Duke, who was now recognisable as the monarch’s husband, writing: ‘Hours later ready for water colour’.
Prince Philip died on April 9, aged 99, and his ceremonial funeral will take place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday at 3pm.

Earlier in the day, Liam finally gave his locks the chop as he shared a snap of himself sporting a fresh trim on Thursday.
He has been sporting a much longer mane than usual over the last several weeks as the barbers were shut during lockdown.
He took to social media and posted a black and white photo with his hair styled into a quiff with an undercut.

The former One Direction star captioned the snap with a scissors emoji after hair salons and barbers were finally permitted to reopen on Monday, April 12.
Liam cut a casual figure in the post, sporting a white T-shirt that showed off his array of arm tattoos.
It marks a dramatic change for Liam who was a dead ringer for Jon Snow when he stepped out with a more rugged appearance last week.
Liam’s look appeared to be inspired by the Game Of Thrones actor as he was spotted waiting to rehearse for the BAFTAs with long shaggy hair and a beard.

The singer seemed pensive as he strolled around the set, his tattooed arms folded.
Liam often sports a cleaner cut look, at one point having a buzzcut and going clean-shaven.
His hair was reminiscent of former bandmate Harry Styles, who once sported similarly long tresses.
Liam performed at the 2021 British Academy Film Awards using augmented reality to create an avatar which will stream on viewers’ phones.

During the performance the singer interacted with an animated version of himself and it left some watching at home confused by the CGI performance.
One wrote: ‘Is that Liam Payne? What the f**k is happening?’
Another viewer described Liam’s performance as ‘creepy’, writing: ‘what is this animated liam payne doing in my tl someone enlighten me bc i am genuinely creeped out help’ (sic).
However, others described Liam’s futuristic augmented reality performance as ‘magnificent’.
The BAFTA and EE British Academy Film Awards 2021 were the first of the Academy’s film ceremonies to be held virtually.
