Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) made his final appearance in Hollyoaks tonight (January 6), after he was nearly killed by Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter).
However, the serial killer lives to fight another day!
Picking up form where the previous episode left off, tonight’s E4 first-look instalment saw a showdown unfold between Silas and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).
Mercedes demanded to know where Bobby was, but Silas avoided the question, instead commenting that she has a choice to make.
He then issued her with an ultimatum: either she could allow Bobby to leave with him and he’d let her live, or he could murder her right now, and Bobby would therefore stay with the McQueen clan.
Mercedes ultimately sacrificed herself for her son, and thus told the murderer that he could kill her.
Accepting her choice, Silas prepared to kill Mercedes, but he was stopped by Theresa — who attacked him and left him for dead!
It appeared as if the McQueens finally had the upper hand on Silas, but Bobby soon returned to The Folly and gave his great-granddad CPR — which ultimately worked!
As Mercedes reunited with Bobby, she learned that the serial killer had a message for her: he would no longer bother her, as he believes that she won the game.
Mercedes was overjoyed to hear that Silas was gone, and she ultimately disowned Theresa for all the damage she caused.
The nightmare was at an end — or at least that’s what Mercy thought.
Meanwhile, Silas called Bobby and told him that they won’t be able to see each other anytime soon, but he sent him an app — which was a virtual game of chess — which seemingly allows them to keep in touch.
Silas is gone… for now… but have we seen the last of him?
Hollyoaks continues Thursday January 7 at 7pm on E4.
