Holby City spoilers: Kian jealous of Jac’s new patient & Sacha’s secret exposed

After last week’s coronavirus special, it’s back to something more like business as usual at Holby City, as Jac (Rosie Marcel) and Kian (Ramin Karimloo)’s relationship takes centre stage.

Kian has his feathers ruffled when Jac takes a more than professional interest in a patient. Who is the mystery man and how does Jac know him? And what does it mean for Jac and Kian?

Sacha (Bob Barrett) has been keeping secrets of his own but, as we know, nothing stays secret on Holby for long.

His relationship with Jodie Rodgers (Sian Reese-Williams) – the woman he invited to stay with him after he was partly responsible for making her homeless – is about to go public in spectacular fashion, as Jodie herself pitches up on Keller.

To hear Jodie talk about it, you’d think she and Sacha are love’s young dream. It’s not surprising that Dominic (David Ames) and Donna (Jaye Jacobs) are aghast at how quickly he’s apparently moved on from his grief over Essie, and they decide to consult a higher power – Jac Naylor. Will she be able to get through to Sacha?

Since Cameron (Nic Jackman) was photographed outside the hospital and branded an NHS hero by the newspapers, he’s getting quite famous and is even in demand for magazine interviews.

A glamorous patient is quite excited that she’s being treated by the ‘celebrity doctor.’ This makes Nicky (Belinda Owusu) even more insecure than usual, given that Cameron is still insisting they keep their relationship under wraps. She tells Cameron she wants to go public about their romance – but will he agree?

The new F1s, Skylar (Phoebe Pryce), Josh (Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge) and Jeong-Soo (Chan Woo Lim), start to settle in to their new roles after not making the best impression on Hanssen (Guy Henry) at their induction meeting.

At least two of the three find their heads being turned by other members of staff, but then Hanssen gives them some news that should make them focus their attention more firmly on work.

As Covid 19 continues to put extra pressure on the wards, there aren’t enough staff to cope and Max (Jo Martin) finds herself caught between a justifiably worried staff team and the attitude of the hospital board to the financial realities. How will she balance the two competing pressures?
