Your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite is back.
That’s right Upper Eastsiders, a Gossip Girl reboot is being made, and the cast have been spotted having lunch on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Fans of the iconic teen drama, which aired from 2007 to 2012, will recognise the famed steps as the lunch spot where Queen Bee Blair Waldorf, played by Leighton Meester, ate lunch with her team of "minions".

On Monday the new cast were snapped on the set wearing incredibly stylish school uniforms as they filmed scenes for the upcoming HBO Max show.
The new stars include Zion Moreno, Eli Brown, Jordan Alexander, Emily Alyn Lind, Tavi Gevinson, Savannah Smith and Thomas Doherty, and they looked every bit the part as they sat together on the steps.
The production on this new era of Gossip Girl began in October, after it was delayed during the spring owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
Back in September it was confirmed to Variety that they would begin shooting towards the end of the month in New York, Vancouver and Los Angeles.

The official summary for the new series reads: "Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl.
“The prestige series will address just how much social media—and the landscape of New York itself—has changed in the intervening years."
Screenwriter Joshua Safran toldThe Hollywood Reporter: "It's just a new look at this particular society in New York, the idea being that society changes constantly.

The show is due to hit our screens in 2021, after filming began on 2 November.
